Waldo is an orange and white cat available at the Coulee Region Humane Society Inc. With a proper introduction, Waldo gets along with kids and other animals. He’s a young man so he surely has kitten energy. Won’t you consider Waldo?

Kitten Hung from Tree
A kitten, now named Pumpkin, hung in a tree as its torturers laughed and hit it. A kind citizen stopped the kids and saved Pumpkin. Thankfully Pumpkin is OK. Pumpkin is now at the Wisconsin Humane Society and will be available for adoption. Unfortunately Pumpkin’s attackers got away.

The Clock is Ticking
DogsInDanger.com lists dogs in high kill shelters that are running out of time. If you can’t bring a dog home, please help spread the word about this site. Seeing all the dogs that have one day left before euthanasia is heartbreaking.

Only Two Years?
A Two Rivers man that stabbed the family dog eight times in a drunken fit will serve two years in prison and pay a fine of $1,361.
That’s it? This time it was the dog, next time it will be a child or spouse.
