Breed Banning Sweeps Wisconsin
Breed banning is moving along in several Wisconsin cities. Arpin and Neillsville have banned pit bulls. Some cities like Wausau have acted more sensibly, banning vicious dogs of any breed. Dangerous dog bans versus brred bans make sense to me; even a poodle can cause a nasty bite.

Breeder Regulations Bill Proposed
Yes, yes yes!!!!
A proposed bill in Wisconsin would:
- Require breeders who sell at least 60 dogs a year or have at least 8 breeding females to register with the state
- Require breeders to meet minimum breeding and sanitary standards
- Make breeders subject to state inspections
- Impose penalties for violations of the standards

Proposed Law Gives Pets Restraining Order Rights
Today the state senate reviewed a bill that would allow pets to be included in restraining orders. The pet would have the same rights as the person placing the restraining order. This is great news for victims of abuse that fear for their pet’s safety.
